Summary

It is recorded that a 2.4m high statue of a bearded man in Greek armour, with a dog between his feet, is situated at this site. It is said to have been dredged from the River Waveney, and may be a 17th century garden ornament.

8ft (2.4m) high, of bearded man in Greek armour, with dog between feet.
Said to have been dredged from River Waveney by A. Suckling (Suffolk Historian) and set up at Barsham (Suffolk) Rectory.
