Full Description
(Lime?)stone statue now at No 10 Cannerby Lane.
8ft (2.4m) high, of bearded man in Greek armour, with dog between feet.
Said to have been dredged from River Waveney by A. Suckling (Suffolk Historian) and set up at Barsham (Suffolk) Rectory.
See letter of 1852 from his niece calling it Achilles. [1]
M. Rajnai (NCM) says 17th century garden ornament.
