Summary

Around 1970 a Bronze Age side-looped spearhead was recovered on the ploughed surface of a field in this area. Subsequent metal-detecting in 2025 recovered a medieval coin and a post-medieval crotal bell.

Bronze Age side-looped spearhead, 10.4cm x 1.9cm ogival blade. Cleaned badly.

The findspot of the Bronze Age spearhead recovered in 1970 has been corrected after the finder showed [2] the findspot on a map. The original location of the findspot was centred on [3].
