Summary

An unusual brick house, a late variant of the lobby-entrance plan with the living room and a separately heated withdrawing room to one side of the chimney stack and a kitchen and dairy to the other; but throughout the beams are ornamentally moulded. Two occurrences of the date 1680 on fireplaces may well date the house although some of the decoration might seem a little earlier. To the west are two barns, one dated 1774, now converted to housing.
