Summary

This small 17th-century flint mansion has shaped brick gable walls and an original pantiled roof. There is a massive two-storeyed porch and a double chimney on the north gable. A well was discovered here in 1984.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Late 17th century. Painted flint cobble and brick. Steep black-glazed pantile roof with Dutch gable ends. Brick dentil eaves; two storeys and attic (attic windows in gable ends). Three windows. Large sashes with glazing bars in exposed cases. Central projecting two-storey painted brick porch with moulded brick stringcourse, first floor sash with glazing bars, ground floor round-headed entrance with keyblock and impost, flanking small round-headed windows. Brick chimney stacks at each end. Interior: ground floor room with fielded panelling with round-headed arch with fluted Ionic pilasters, and cupboards with round-headed fielded-panel doors and keyblooks."
