Full Description
Southeast building of group nearest Shop Lane.
Tall and narrow 16th or 17th century farmhouse, of brick (painted over).
Modern extension to north. Fair condition.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU) 6 October 1976.
(S1) dates to late 17th century with renewed rear wing. Notes platbands, plinths and cornice and one internal gable stack. States interior has two cells divided by cross passage; one cell has stopped joists and tie; second floor has massive stopped ties; roof of two levels of butt purlins.
