Summary
This house dates to around 1600 and has a stone fireplace, perhaps made from reused stone. It stands on massive flint foundations that possibly belonged to a monastic grange. The building has later wings of 18th/19th century date and an early 19th century facade. Numerous medieval stone fragments from Wendling Priory have been found in the garden.
