Summary

Cropmarks of undated rectangular enclosures creating a system of possible field boundaries can be seen on aerial photographs. They are part of the same field system as NHER 12166 to the west. Both sites are now recorded as NHER 17673. The field system does not fit with the modern field boundaries.

THE CROPMARKS DESCRIBED BELOW REPRESENT PART OF THE SAME FIELD SYSTEM AS NHER 12166 TO THE WEST. BOTH SITES ARE NOW RECORDED AS NHER 17673.

Revealed by NAU air photographs as part of system of rectangles askew to present field pattern, and probably part of the system shown on site NHER 12166 to west, though not visibly connected.
