Checked by E. Rose (NAU), 19 October 1976.

1984. Grid reference corrected from overlay (S2).

The central grid reference of this site has been altered from TM 4471 9650 to TM 4465 9649.

June 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks of a possible ring ditch and linear features were visible on aerial photographs to the east of Wiggs Road and Haddiscoe Quarry (S3). The site is centred on TM 4465 9649. The aerial photographs (S3) did not provide sufficient map control points for any of the cropmarks to be mapped. A number of geological and agricultural cropmarks are also visible within the field and these may be obscuring further archaeological features, although some linear features may also be present, in addition to the previously recorded ring ditch. Possible fragmentary linear cropmarks were also noted on aerial photographs from 1996 (S4), however none of the features identified were sufficiently convincing to be mapped.
S. Massey (NMP), 29 June 2007.

November 2025. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
A section of a possible road or trackway is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S5-S6). The date of the feature is unknown but could potentially be a medieval to post medieval in date. The feature is centred at approximately TM 4458 9665.
J. Powell (Norfolk County Council Environment Service), 14 November 2025
