Summary

A sub-rectangular cropmark can be seen on aerial photographs of this area. When visited in 1977 the north side could be seen as a raised sandy bank. This is probably a medieval enclosure.

June 1977. Visit.
North side of enclosure appears as raised sandy bank in field of root crop. Therefore an enclosure and not a moat? Unless this was an outer bank.
