Summary

When first examined this post-medieval house was thought to be of early 17th-century or earlier in date, which fitted with the suggestion that it appears on a map of 1617. When listed Grade II in 1984 the main block was recorded as late 18th century, although it was noted that a lower block to the side is of an earlier date.
