Summary

A large three storey Georgian brick house. Its central bay projects slightly and has a Venetian window above a Classical doorway. There are three plaques dated 1794, 1835 and 1973, the latter being a restoration to include the house with a group of modern houses called Invaders Court.

Listing Description excerpt:
"18th century, brick and pantiled, three storey, sash windows with glazing bars. Venetian window in centre over entrance. Pedimented doorcase with fanlight. Plain parapet and cornice. Wing on east and west of two storeys.
The Normans [NHER 11763], Well House [NHER 47436] and Nos 1 to 5 (consec) Standard Cottages [NHER 47665] and Standard House [NHER 47422] form a group."

House in Standard Road (east of 'St' of 'Standard' on 6 inch Ordnance Survey map). Large Georgian brick house of three storeys (windows decreasing in size towards top) and five bays.
The central bay projecting slightly with a Venetian window above a classical doorcase.
Three plaques; JB 1794, HB 1835, WWG 1973; the latter being a restoration to incorporate it with a group of modern houses called 'Invader's Court'.
