Summary

At the west end of this pair of 19th century cottages is an unusual flint and mortar construction with brick battlements said to be from Old Buckenham Priory (NHER 9202).

Southwesternmost of group of cottages marked on (S1) as 'Dingley Dell'. At west end of this pair of 19th century houses is a round construction of mortared flint 2.1m (7 feet) high with brick battlements, and containing blocks of chamfered stone. At east end is an L-shaped wall with 'lancets', and built into it a medieval carved crucifix, fragment of a colonette with arm and clenched fist carved on it, and finial.
Said by occupants to be from Old Buckenham Priory.
