Full Description
19th century, overlapping thatched roofs, tall Tudor-style chimneys, walls of flint incorporating terracotta panels with fleurs-de-lys and what appear to be medieval corbels. Also fragment of Decorated style window tracery against one wall. Excellent condition.
Visited E. Rose (NAU), 24 November 1976.
Medieval fragments could come from Arminghall Old Hall or from Carrow Abbey, fragments of both of which were formerly built into follies in the grounds. The Decorated style window tracery was removed some time during 1981 - or even earlier.
Compiled by E. Rose (NAU), 28 April 1982.
