Full Description
Ring ditch on RAF air photographs, see (S1).
Information from A. Lawson (NAU).
No sign in ploughed field.
A. Lawson (NAU) 16 March 1976.
March 2026. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
A ring ditch likely associated with the site of a Bronze Age round barrow, is visible as a cropmark and soilmark on aerial photographs (S2-S3). The possibility that the ring ditch could relate to an infilled post medieval pit, cannot be ruled out.
The monument polygon has been updated from TF 8255 1452 to TF 8262 1454 to reflect the location of the feature as visible on S2 and S3
J. Powell (Norfolk County Council Environment Service), 16 March 2026
