Summary

An undated ring ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It may be the remains of a Bronze Age barrow. On the 1843 East Walton tithe map the area around the ring ditch is called 'Doule Field'. The word 'Doule' indicates the location of a boundary marker and is known to be used in reference to at least two barrow sites in Norfolk.
