Location

Civil Parish FELTWELL, WEST NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

On (S1) a barrow called Harthowe is marked.
Information from A. Lawson (NAU).

(S2) shows a mound called Ten Howes Hill. This appeared to R. Silvester (NAU) to be slightly further north, in Methwold parish, but accuracy difficult to judge of original map. Compare site NHER 12797 where there seems to be the same degree of inaccuracy required to move Harthowe northwards to the same extent.
E. Rose (NAU), J. Wymer (NAU) and R. Silvester (NAU) 25 January 1989.
