Timber framed, about 1700 with later additions.

June 1972. Listed, Grade II.
An early 17th century timber framed house, plastered. Casements. Pantiles. Fairly massive chimney. 2 storeys. Later red brick porch. Ground floor windows sheeted up. Moat nearby.

Derelict when surveyed by RCHM in May 1973.

Barn to north, timber framed, is however of around 1700 with later clay lump and brick additions and alterations.

February 2008. Building survey.
The building appears to originally have been a G-plan three cell farmhouse, dating from 1580-1600. A single bay timber framed extension was added c.1630-50. The cross passage survived until the 1970's restoration.
