"Shop with flat over. 16th-century origins, but much altered. Timber-frame exists as fragments. 19th-century brick skin. West timber-framed wall collapsed 1988 and replaced with breeze blocks. Slate roof. Two storeys and dormer attic. 20th-century double shopfront with timber passage door to left. Two late 19th-century sashes to first floor. Gabled roof with one gabled dormer. Single-storey wing to rear carrying a stack, gabled to main roof.
Interior: Main ground-floor front room with a mid-18th-century pine corner cupboard: round-arched and with dentil cornice. Rear room panelled. Staircase landing has balustrade of turned balusters and ovolo-moulded handrail. Enough of roof remains to show that it was of clasped purlin construction. Included for group value."
