Map

September 1974. Building Survey.
An early 18th century two-storey brick house retaining some original internal doors. The house was subdivided into three tenements in the 19th century. This is reflected in the cluttered position of the current street doors. A diagonal scar over the current door of number 32 also indicates that the building once featured a pedimented doorcase covering a single door.
See (S1) for further details.
H. Hamilton (NLA), 23 June 2008.

1974. Building Survey.
Field notes by NARG in file, add little to the above (S2). Photographs in NARG set in parish file.
E. Rose (NLA), 30 March 2007

May 1978. Demolished.

January to April 1991. Watching Brief. (link road for NAU) SEE NHER 5747 FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
Groundworks for the construction of the southern portion of the Thetford Link Road between Castle Street and Guildhall Street were monitored intermittently. An undated pit and remains of a rubble-filled basement or cellar of a building which previously fronted Raymond Street were encountered during groundworks in a small area between Guildhall Street and Raymond Street. These are likely the remains of this building and/or NHER 12114.
See (S3) for further details.
H. Hamilton (NLA), 9 October 2008.
