Map

1963-1970 (at some time). Systematic observation and recovery during excavation of service trenches.
A T-junction of two flint and mortar walls of a single build lay on a deep foundation trench filled with gravel. The nature of the wall, with the clear evidence of a tenement boundary bisecting it, suggests the construction, for rental, of separate buildings on a commonly owned pair of tenements. The only finds were Grimston ware jugs and Grimston and Yorkshire cooking pots.
E. Rose (NAU), amended A. Cattermole (King's Lynn UAD), 5 March 2019.
