Summary

An early 19th-century house with later 19th- and 20th-century alterations. It stands on the site of the Half Moon Tavern and part of the inn may survive in the existing structure. Behind the house are 18th century warehouses. The house and warehouses are located on what is thought to be the original site of the Carmelite friary (the later site is recorded as NHER 4306).
