Summary

Aerial photographs of this site show cropmarks which may indicate a ring ditch. However, a windmill is marked on this site on a map of 1797, and the cropmarks may be the result of this. The windmill itself was a post mill, and was demolished between 1851 and 1852, when a replacement was built at site NHER 10973. The mill at this site has been almost completely destroyed by ploughing, with only a small mound remaining.
