Summary

A brick house that was built around 1600 and that has been rebuilt and extended on a number of occasions. The outside walls are rendered and the roof has thatch beneath its tiles.

Originally an L-shaped house with arms of equal length built about 1600.
It has been so gutted, rebuilt and extended that only the basic shape, stepped gables and central chimney show the original date. Outside rendered but original bricks can be seen inside roof, which has reed thatch under the tiles, but the woodwork has been mostly renewed.
Poor condition now but to be restored.
