Summary

A Roman coin hoard was found in the 19th century, as well as Roman brooches including a horse and rider brooch with enamel decoration and a glass bead.

'In 19th century, on a sandy field near a stream'.
Roman coin hoard composed of bronze coins of Carausius, Allectus and Dalmatius.
1AE of Nerva, 2AE of Decentius, and coins of Constantine, House of Constantius, Crispus and Tetricus, denarii of Septimus Severus and Trajan, and a coin with the figures of Romulus and Remus.

2 brooches were also found, and a third in the form of a horse and rider which had once been enamelled.
Also a blue glass bead and a thimble.
