Summary

The earliest feature of this house is the 17th century west gable made from flint. The majority of the house was rebuilt in 1850, and the interior has been completely modernised although it retains many of the original beams. It has been suggested that the building was once in use as a school.

West gable 17th century, flint, with false hoodmoulded window (fireplace was on other side) and smaller false window above, also brick patterning. House much rebuilt in 1850 (date on barn) and now completely modernised inside, but retains original beams. Said to have been once used as a school. Owner is very sympathetic to preservation.
