Full Description
1863. Stray find.
An 'ancient copper dagger' found at a depth of 60cm (2ft).
(S1) carefully distinguishes this from the bronze hoard found in 1844.
Information (S1) in (S2).
However (S3) says it was 60cm (2 feet) long, not at a depth of 2ft. Which is correct?
E. Rose (NLA), 24 April 1998.
