Full Description
Before June 1971. Casual discovery.
A 1.5m (5ft) deep drain trench across the line of Crooked Lane revealed little but modern disturbance. A few sherds of Grimston jug and cooking pot were found at the bottom of the trench in what appeared to be medieval floor levels.
