Full Description
1977. Visit.
Formerly known as Easton Lodge and lodge to Costessey Park, built with additions to hall of 1826 or 1836. Red brick, L shaped with tower in angle. Very attractive Tudoresque style with traceried windows, dormers, pinnacles, magnificent chimneys. Moulded cornice of south and Stafford knot - probably product of Costessey brickworks if functioning at this date as very like their later products. Fine cast iron rainheads. Rear of house plain with modern extensions. Cannon now set outside.
Handle in gate in form of Stafford knot.
Excellent condition.
