Summary

This late 18th century house has 20th century wings. It is round, built of colourwashed brick and has a thatched roof. It was orginally a lodge associated with Costessey Hall.

Former lodge of Costessey Park.
Round, brick, two storeys thatched with central chimneys, tree trunks supporting eaves. Pointed windows. Thatched extension. Early 19th century. Excellent condition.

According to (S1) (copy in file), the lodge dates from the 1790s. The wings are 20th century additions; see old photographs in the article.
