Summary

In 1977 a piece of Roman pottery was found in this area. Metal detecting in 1994 recovered a post medieval thimble and a post medieval weight. Metal detecting in 2010 recovered an Iron Age terret fragment, 2 Early Saxon brooch fragments and various metal objects dating to the medieval and post-medieval period.

Post medieval bronze thimble. Hand punched 'dots', domed head, decorated base.
Post medieval sub-circular cast lead weight. Central perforation ?Line/net weight. Weight 36.8g.
