Summary

Five circular areas of ash, bricks, clay pipe fragments, and pottery sherds were seen on the field surface after the first ploughing, and described as kilns. A later site visit in 1977 found no evidence of these.

Site examined by A. Gregory (NAU) July 1977, but nothing seen.
