Full Description
1977. Found in ploughing. Low sandhills a few feet above level of surrounding peat.
When shallow ploughed in winter, coarse pottery found, called Bronze Age, but not seen NCM. Field deep ploughed in spring.
See NHER 20981 Context 2; NHER 20992 Context 7; NHER 14646 Context 3.
This site cannot extend as far east as marked on (S1), if information is accurate, as the easternmost field is old pasture and
is not sandhills.
M. Leah (NAU), August 1990
