Full Description
'A few years ago'. 'Dug up in the Bittering Quarry'.
Quern, upper stone, dome-shaped with central hole and tapering hole from site. Puddingstone.
Information from B. Yates (Rural Life Museum) 1977.
NCM.
April 1997 or thereabouts.
Chance find in muddy soil in gravel quarry, so probably not its original location.
Neolithic flint axe, (S1).
