Summary

In 1954 a probable medieval pit was discovered. It contained pottery of probable medieval date, charcoal and oyster and mussel shells.

Near Old Hunstanton club house (Hunstanton Parish).
Refuse pit found at 3 feet 6 inch deep with soot-blackened clay, charcoal, oyster and mussel shells and two sherds, probably medieval.
