Summary

The cropmark of a ring ditch is visible on aerial photographs and this may relate to a Bronze Age round barrow site. The monument forms part of a possible linear barrow group, see NHER 1020, NHER 12787 and NHER 12788, running alongside the former course of the River Burn. The linear group may be focused on the larger and potentially earlier hengiform monument to the east, see NHER 1020.
