Summary

The cropmark of a possible Bronze Age ring ditch can be seen on aerial photographs. Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered Roman and Iron Age pottery fragments and prehistoric worked flints. Metal detecting found a variety of metal objects dating from the Roman to the post medieval period including a Roman coin and an Early Saxon brooch.
