Summary

A post medieval hotel and well. The exterior of building is mostly 17th and/or 18th century in date, with a number of 19th century additions. The long northern brick façade features seven bays and two storeys. It has been suggested that the building dates to the 16th century, although there is no external evidence for this. In 1970 a wood-lined post medieval well was discovered.
