Summary

Neolithic flint tools and Roman pottery were recovered from a trench for a gas pipe. Metal detecting on the same site found Roman, medieval and post medieval metal finds.

Medieval Copper alloy strap end buckle with three rivets and central rectangular hole in 'plate'.
Medieval fragment of copper alloy buckle with swivel on resting bar.
Late medieval/post medieval copper alloy spur rowel,.
Early post medieval openwork button with integral loop.
