Full Description
1977. NAU aerial photography.
Rectangular cropmark off field boundary.
D. Edwards (NAU), 1976
Located by E. Rose (NAU) 21 December 1977.
W. Milligan (NCM) reports comment from unknown source that edges of cropmarks are still visible beyond the bypass which has been built across it.
Plot out (S1) in file.
E. Rose (NLA) 2 May 1994.
January 2013. Norfolk NMP.
The undated rectangular enclosure described above is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (S2). It is likely to be contemporary with the field boundaries depicted on the 2nd edition Ordnance survey map since it is aligned in exactly the same way, and may relate to a smaller field boundary or possible stock enclosure. It measures approximately 37m by 17m internally and is centred on TM 0329 9450. The HER polygon has been altered slightly as a result of the NMP mapping
E. Ford (NMP), 8 January 2013.
