Summary

Fieldwalking in 1977 recovered a large spread of pot boilers and worked flint. In 1996 a pit containing pot boilers and charcoal was recorded.

November and December 1977. Total of three hours fieldwalking on sandy soil, ploughed and weathered, produced a spread of 'many worked flints' and a concentration of pantiles and bricks. NARG recording sheet in file, context 1

11 November 1996. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation excavation in advance of wastewater scheme. Pit containing potboilers and charcoal. No other features or finds recorded.
