Summary

The cropmark of a dark broad curving linear feature is visible on Hunting Survey aerial photographs from 1969 and Ordnance Survey images from 1970. This feature appears to be an extinct channel/watercourse.

On vertical RAF air photograph approximately 1947.
Dark soil mark in bottom of shallow valley running north-to-south.
Suggested as defensive ditch cutting off headland, but probably an extinct watercourse.
Mark is approximately 50m wide.

Cropmark of dark broad curving linear visible on Hunting survey aerial photographs from 1969 (S1) and Ordnance Survey images from 1970 (S2). In line with previous suggestions, the feature appears (from aerial photographs) to be an extinct channel/watercourse. Therefore it has not been plotted.
