Summary

This house was built in two sections, one dating to between approximately 1720-80, the other, and the rear extensions, to around 1800. Connected at rear is a small barn of around 1700 and a cottage, probably connected with an earlier rectory on the site. The original wooden porch with coupled Roman Doric pillars is now attached to a 19th century brick room to the east.

Late Georgian house (presumably post 1792 when church demolished in garden).
Five bays, two storeys on main south façade with on west a slightly recessed wing of four bays, two storeys. This is in identical style and red brick and may be of the same date, designed to avoid too large a façade. The original wooden porch with coupled Roman Doric pillars is now attached to a 19th century brick room to the east.
Good clunch barns with brick galletting and stables converted to a swimming pool.

(S1) (dated to 1690 at Norfolk Record Office but [1] suggests it may be of 1724) marks the site of this house as 'Scite Rectory'.

Connected at rear is a small barn of around 1700 and a cottage, probably connected with earlier rectory on site. The larger barns and stables are part of the later work.
