Full Description
One of the houses named by Major-General Harvey after victories in the Peninsula War.
An inscription states 'This house with brick kiln Built by Major-General Sir Robert Harvey in 1847 in which year two millions of bricks were burnt for the railway".

The kiln mentioned was probably on NHER 49771 across the road.
