Full Description
'On the Heath are Celtic tumuli containing urns of brown clay and burnt bones, also several Roman bricks, and a latten ewer, 10cm (4 inches) high with spout and handle, probably for consecrated oil' See (S1).
This (as often) is a confusion of sites.
The first part refers all right to the tumuli, but the Roman bricks are Gramborough Hill (NHER 6214).
There is no other reference yet known to the ewer, and so this county number refers to this alone, its findspot not being determined.
