Summary

This T-shaped two storey flint building with traces of old brick window edges has a date stone that reads '1619' and 'RNA'. This marriage stone may refer to remodelling or shortening of the house. The building has been much altered throughout its history. There is a south wing continued by a single storey cottage. This was added and other alterations made in the 18th century. A course of reused stone blocks runs beneath the eaves. Inside are some ornate ceilings of the mid 16th century.
