Summary

There is a medieval stone window in the northeast wall of an outbuilding at The Mount. The outbuilding is 19th century and is built of brick and flint. The window may have come from West Newton church (NHER 3278) and was possibly removed during the rebuilding works of 1881.

In northeast wall of outbuilding of 'The Mount' (19th century red brick house). Outbuilding is of same date, flint and brick.
Decorated style window (early 14th century cusped tracery under straight head).
Apparently genuine, and no trace of other Gothic Revival work in house. Where from?

(S1) states that this window was brought from West Newton church (NHER 3278) by a builder who owned the house and was presumably engaged upon the rebuilding of that church in 1881.
