Summary

Roman pottery sherds and tile fragments were recovered as stray finds in 1978, while metal-detecting in 2014 recovered a Roman coin, an Early Saxon brooch and a fragment of post-medieval whittle tang knife.

Much Roman pottery and tile found here in past by [1].
Information to E. Rose (NAU), 7 April 1978.

2002. Fieldwalking.
Several visits in early 2002 and in early May.
In young sugar beet, well weathered, no pottery sherds seen.
