Full Description
April 1977. Visit.
Early 17th century.
Two projecting wings to east, with stepped gables of brick. North gable also stepped, with beams visible horizontally set in east wall. West front brick, but with projecting stepped-gabled porch tower of flint and stone, latter said by [1] to be reused from Castle Acre priory.

Listing Description:
Farmhouse. 16th or 17th century timber frame infilled with brick in 1752 (according to datestone on south gable). Extended in 19th century. Timber frame, brick, re-used ashlar and flint with pantiled roofs. 2 storeys with attic. 2 storey porch of re-used asblar and flint (dog-tooth moulding on one fragment of ashlar). 3 bays of sash windows with glazing bars and glazed door beneath skewback arches with cambered soffits. One ground floor facade window and north ground floor gable-end window tripartite. 2 gabled extensions to rear. 19th century crow-stepped gables. Gable-end stack and axial stack with Victorian decorative shafts.
