Summary

This is the site of an Iron Age settlement, and Iron Age pottery has been found by fieldwalking. During World War Two this site was an airfield, used as an emergency landing field by RAF Marham. Fieldwalking on this site has recovered prehistoric flints, and pottery dating from the late prehistoric to the post medieval periods.

Full Description

Site of satellite disperal field from RAF Marham during World War Two. The field was used for emergency landings.

1983, and 1986 to 1987. Fieldwalking.
Prehistoric, Iron Age, Roman, Late Saxon, Middle Saxon and medieval sherds.
