Summary

It is recorded that a decoy airfield was present 'on Swaffham Heath' during World War Two. It is possible that this is a confusion with the South Pickenham decoy, which was known as Swaffham.

It seems almost certain that this is a confusion with the South Pickenham decoy which was known as Swaffham. See NHER 13567.
